First pilot testing experiences of the Basic Course started in Pamplona with the collaboration of CEDERNA GARALUR Association

Iturbrok started the 16th March 2012 the first pilot testing activity of the NetKnowing 2.0 Basic and Advanced Courses. For this, a third entity, the CEDERNA GARALUR Association has been involved as national collaborator. The Association CEDERNA GARALUR: it is a great entity providing services on rural development of the half north of Navarra’s regions ( It has a strong activities focused on small rural enterprises and new business entrepreneurs.

A convention was signed with Iturbrok agreeing the compromise of CEDERNA GARALUR to provide better access to the targeted SMEs, to participate in dissemination activities and to contribute to the organization of the courses, as well as facilitating its own equipments and classrooms.

According this framework, Iturbrok will deliver four editions of pilot training experiences, three of of the Basic Course and one of the Advanced Course, between April and June 2012 mainly aimed to SMEs and organizations of rural areas of the north of Navarra.

All are designed to be delivered in blended modality, combining two/three face to face workshops by course’s edition with on line self-learning activities and guided practices supported remotely by a tutor.

In the case of Basic Course, the first edition has been extended from 16th March to 4th April 2012, and 22 participants took part. The following editions are previewed from 19th April to 1st May and from 5th to 19th May.

The issues of the workshops included in the Basic Course are:

1. Informal Learning and Web 2.0. technologies
2. Social Media Web 2.0, networks concepts and net-etiquette and personal strategies to improve informal learning opportunities.

The guided practices are exercises that participants must accomplish by their own side, but they can have the support of the tutor (by mail, skype, messenger or the NetKnowing 2.0 corporate social network on for developing activities like to participate in forums, developing a common wiki about informal learning definitions, searching interesting blogs and sharing by tweets or posts, creating good Linkedin profiles and selecting contacts, creating documents collections in, uploading documents to slideshare, creating and sharing their social bookmark in, subscribing Feeds RSS with Explorer, MS Outlook and Google Reader.
