A workshop entitled “NetKnowing 2.0: How social media and Web 2.0 can support Informal learning in your company?” was organized last 18th May 2012 by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts of Siauliai. 48 representatives of Lithuanian SMEs and MBA students participated.

As it was organized just in coincidence with the celebration of 4th transnational meeting of the project, all the NetKnwoing 2.0 partners participated and presented different issues related to the project and its outcomes.

The program was composed by 4 presentations:
• The NetKnowing 2.0 European Project: overview, by Edita Grigaliauskiene (CCI Siauliai and Marta Mañas (Iturbrok).
• New Economic Situation, New Learning Formats, by Helena Caiado (AIP)
• The NetKnowing 2.0 Basic Course, by Sinead Mellet (EMRC)
• Implementing Informal Learning in Companies, by Ileana Hamburg (IAT)

They were followed by a session of questions and comments, in which participants took a very active part. The main issues of the discussion were around the accessibility of ICTs, the risk of losing time when the use of social Media is allowed in companies and organizations, the interest to incorporate mentoring to facilitate informal learning in companies and the methods to encourage sharing knowledge behaviour.
